Spermatocele Excision

Spermatocele Excision is available through Mark Cuban Companies Health Plan at a published cash price, paid when you book.

Spermatocele excision is a surgical procedure performed to remove a spermatocele, a cyst-like mass that forms within the epididymis, the tube that carries sperm from the testicle. Spermatoceles are typically benign and may not require treatment unless they cause discomfort or affect fertility. During the procedure, the surgeon makes an incision in the scrotum to access the spermatocele. The cyst is then carefully dissected and removed, along with any associated fluid or tissue. The incision is closed with sutures, and a sterile dressing is applied to the surgical site. Spermatocele excision is usually performed under local or general anesthesia on an outpatient basis, allowing patients to return home the same day. Recovery from spermatocele excision is generally quick, with most individuals able to resume normal activities within a few days.
