Testicular Implant Placement

Testicular Implant Placement is available through Mark Cuban Companies Health Plan at a published cash price, paid when you book.

Testicular implant placement, also known as testicular prosthesis surgery, is a surgical procedure performed to implant an artificial testicle into the scrotum to replace a missing or absent natural testicle. This procedure is typically performed for individuals who have undergone testicular removal (orchiectomy) due to conditions such as testicular cancer, trauma, or congenital absence. During the procedure, the surgeon makes a small incision in the scrotum and creates a pocket to accommodate the implant. The artificial testicle, made of silicone or other biocompatible materials, is then placed into the pocket and secured in position. The incision is closed with sutures, and a sterile dressing is applied. Testicular implant placement is usually performed under local or general anesthesia on an outpatient basis, allowing patients to return home the same day. Recovery from testicular implant placement is generally quick, with most individuals able to resume normal activities within a few days.
