Cystoscopy

Cystoscopy is available through Mark Cuban Companies Health Plan at a published cash price, paid when you book.

Cystoscopy is a diagnostic procedure used to examine the inside of the bladder and urethra. During the procedure, a cystoscope, a thin tube with a camera and light at the end, is inserted through the urethra and into the bladder. This allows healthcare providers to visualize the lining of the bladder and urethra, as well as any abnormalities such as tumors, stones, or inflammation. Cystoscopy can help diagnose conditions such as urinary tract infections, bladder cancer, urinary incontinence, and enlarged prostate. In some cases, cystoscopy may also be used to perform minor surgical procedures, such as removing bladder stones or taking tissue samples for biopsy. Cystoscopy is typically performed as an outpatient procedure and is generally well-tolerated by patients, though some discomfort or urinary symptoms may occur temporarily afterward.
