Knee Arthroscopy with ACL Repair/Reconstruction with Autograft
Knee Arthroscopy with ACL Repair/Reconstruction with Autograft is available through Mishe Health Plan at a published cash price, paid when you book.
Knee arthroscopy with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction using an autograft is a surgical procedure aimed at repairing a torn or ruptured ACL in the knee joint. This minimally invasive procedure involves inserting a small camera, called an arthroscope, into the knee joint through small incisions. The surgeon then removes the damaged ACL and prepares the knee for the placement of an autograft, which is tissue harvested from another part of the patient's own body, typically the patellar tendon, hamstring tendon, or quadriceps tendon. The autograft is secured in place using screws or other fixation devices to replace the torn ACL, providing stability to the knee joint.
