Arthroscopic Bicep Repair
Arthroscopic Bicep Repair is available through Mishe Health Plan at a published cash price, paid when you book.
Arthroscopic bicep repair is a minimally invasive surgical procedure performed to treat injuries or tears of the long head of the biceps tendon, which connects the biceps muscle to the shoulder joint. During the procedure, small incisions are made around the shoulder, and an arthroscope (a small camera) and specialized surgical instruments are inserted to visualize and repair the damaged tendon. Depending on the extent of the injury, the surgeon may reattach the tendon to its original insertion point on the shoulder (biceps tenodesis) or anchor it to a nearby bone (biceps tenotomy). Arthroscopic bicep repair aims to relieve pain, restore strength, and improve shoulder function for individuals experiencing biceps tendon injuries or tears.
