Hip Arthroscopy
Hip Arthroscopy is available through Mishe Health Plan at a published cash price, paid when you book.
Hip arthroscopy with removal of loose body or foreign body is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to diagnose and treat problems within the hip joint. During the procedure, a surgeon inserts a small camera (arthroscope) and surgical instruments through tiny incisions around the hip. This allows the surgeon to visualize the inside of the joint on a video monitor and remove any loose bodies (such as fragments of bone or cartilage) or foreign objects that may be causing pain, swelling, or restricted movement. The procedure is often recommended for patients experiencing hip pain or mechanical symptoms such as locking, catching, or giving way due to loose bodies.
