Knee Arthroscopy
Knee Arthroscopy is available through Mishe Health Plan at a published cash price, paid when you book.
Knee arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to diagnose and treat various knee joint conditions, such as torn meniscus, damaged cartilage, ligament injuries, and inflamed synovial tissue. During the procedure, the surgeon makes small incisions around the knee and inserts an arthroscope, a tiny camera that provides a clear view of the inside of the joint. Specialized surgical instruments are then used to perform the necessary repairs. This technique allows for precise treatment with minimal disruption to surrounding tissues, resulting in faster recovery times and less postoperative pain compared to traditional open surgery.
