Wrist Arthroscopy with TFCC

Wrist Arthroscopy with TFCC is available through Mishe Health Plan at a published cash price, paid when you book.

Wrist arthroscopy with excision and/or repair of the triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) and/or joint debridement is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to diagnose and treat various wrist problems. The triangular fibrocartilage complex is a structure in the wrist that provides stability and smooth movement between the small bones in the wrist and the forearm bones. During the procedure, the surgeon makes small incisions in the wrist and inserts an arthroscope—a tiny camera that allows them to view the inside of the joint on a screen. Surgical instruments are then used to repair tears in the TFCC, remove damaged tissue, or perform joint debridement to clean out loose fragments and smooth rough surfaces. The goal is to alleviate pain, restore wrist function, and improve range of motion.
