Knee Arthroplasty Unicompartmental

Knee Arthroplasty Unicompartmental is available through Mishe Health Plan at a published cash price, paid when you book.

Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty (UKA), also known as partial knee replacement, is a surgical procedure that replaces only the damaged compartment of the knee joint, typically due to osteoarthritis, while preserving the healthy bone, cartilage, and ligaments. This less invasive alternative to total knee replacement involves resurfacing the affected area—either the medial (inner), lateral (outer), or patellofemoral (front) compartment—using metal and plastic components. UKA aims to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain more of the knee’s natural movement and structure.
