MCL Repair

MCL Repair is available through Mishe Health Plan at a published cash price, paid when you book.

Knee medial collateral ligament (MCL) repair is a surgical procedure performed to treat a torn or severely damaged MCL, a ligament located on the inner side of the knee that helps stabilize the joint. Injuries to the MCL commonly occur due to sports activities or trauma that forces the knee to bend inward. During the procedure, the surgeon reattaches the torn ligament to the bone using sutures, anchors, or other fixation devices. In cases of severe damage, a tendon graft may be used to reconstruct the ligament. The goal of the surgery is to restore stability to the knee joint, alleviate pain, and enable the patient to return to their normal activities. Postoperative care includes immobilization followed by a structured rehabilitation program to restore strength and flexibility.
