Sacroiliac Branch Block
Sacroiliac Branch Block is available through Mark Cuban Companies Health Plan at a published cash price, paid when you book.
A sacroiliac joint (SI) block is a diagnostic procedure used to determine if the sacroiliac joint is the source of a patient's lower back or buttock pain. During the procedure, a local anesthetic, sometimes with a corticosteroid, is injected into the sacroiliac joint under fluoroscopic guidance. If the injection alleviates the patient's pain, it suggests that the sacroiliac joint is indeed the source of their discomfort. This diagnostic information helps guide further treatment decisions, such as radiofrequency ablation or other therapies targeting the sacroiliac joint.
