Colonoscopy
Colonoscopy is available through MDDirect at a published cash price, paid when you book.
Colonoscopy is a medical procedure used to examine the inner lining of the large intestine (colon and rectum) for signs of colorectal diseases, including colorectal cancer. It is considered one of the most effective methods for early detection and prevention of colon-related conditions. During a colonoscopy, a flexible, thin tube with a camera at its tip, called a colonoscope, is inserted through the rectum into the colon to allow the physician to visualize the colon's interior. If any abnormalities or polyps are found, they can be removed or biopsied during the procedure.
