Knee Arthroscopy with PCL Repair/Reconstruction with Allograft
Knee Arthroscopy with PCL Repair/Reconstruction with Allograft is available through Mark Cuban Companies Health Plan at a published cash price, paid when you book.
Knee arthroscopy with posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) repair or reconstruction using an allograft is a surgical procedure aimed at repairing or reconstructing a torn or damaged PCL in the knee joint. This minimally invasive procedure involves inserting a small camera, called an arthroscope, into the knee joint through small incisions. The surgeon then evaluates the extent of the PCL injury and performs either a repair or reconstruction using allograft tissue obtained from a donor. The allograft tissue is secured in place using screws or other fixation devices to restore stability and function to the knee joint. This approach offers the advantage of using donor tissue instead of the patient's own tissue, potentially resulting in faster recovery times and avoiding the need for a secondary surgical site for tissue harvesting.
