Finger Foreign Body Removal
Finger Foreign Body Removal is available through Mark Cuban Companies Health Plan at a published cash price, paid when you book.
Finger foreign body removal is a minor surgical procedure performed to extract objects or debris that have become lodged in the soft tissues of the finger. Foreign bodies can include splinters, glass shards, metal fragments, or other small objects that may penetrate the skin and cause pain, swelling, or infection. During the procedure, the surgeon typically numbs the affected area with a local anesthetic and makes a small incision to access the foreign body. Specialized instruments are then used to carefully extract the object while minimizing damage to surrounding tissues. Following removal, the wound is cleaned, and in some cases, stitches may be placed to close the incision. Recovery is usually rapid, with minimal discomfort, and patients are often able to resume normal activities shortly afterward.
