About Presence Primary Care
Dr. Anna G. Mirer (she/her) is a family physician working in Milwaukee. Born in rural upstate New York, she is the uncreative black sheep in a family of chaotic artists. She spent her adolescence making questionable decisions in New York City before squeaking her way into then out of college. She taught Head Start in New Mexico, and got her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at UC Berkeley, before embarking on an unintentionally long course of study in the MD-PhD program at UW-Madison that spanned three presidencies. Despite her doctorate in Epidemiology nobody listened to her when she told them COVID was coming. Heroically overcoming her aversion to early rising, she made it through Family Medicine residency, and made a good faith effort at fitting into corporate medicine before noping out to start her own Direct Primary Care practice.
